An intention or action.
Throwing an object (such as a ball) to someone can represent: an invitation to dialogue, play, or otherwise participate, giving power or handing something off to the person (as in “the ball is in your court”).
Throwing something at someone with intent to hurt them can represent: a feeling or fear of losing control, a particular emotion (anger, frustration, jealousy, etc.), a desire to avoid that person.
Throwing an object with intent to scare a person can represent: feeling a need to defend yourself, a desire for power (perhaps due to feeling unempowered).
Consider the intention for throwing and the object being thrown.
